Birdline AI for Slack

Keep your whole team in the loop — share campaign briefs and get task updates directly in the Slack channels where your team already works.

What is Birdline AI?

Birdline AI is a campaign management platform for marketing teams — plan campaigns, write creative briefs, manage deliverables and tasks, and keep everyone aligned, all in one place.

The Birdline AI Slack app connects your Birdline organization to your Slack workspace so important campaign activity reaches your team instantly, without anyone needing to check another tab. Campaign updates, brief reviews, and task hand-offs no longer get buried in email or missed entirely — the moment something needs your team's attention, it lands in the right channel.

What the app does in Slack

Share campaigns and briefs to a channel

From any Campaign Overview or Brief Outline in Birdline, click Share → Send to Slack, pick a public channel, and optionally add a note. Your team gets a formatted message with:

  • The campaign or brief title and who shared it
  • Your note, if you added one
  • A View button that opens a secure preview link (valid for 30 days)

Task notifications

When you create a task, assign it to a teammate, or change its status, you can post the update to a Slack channel of your choice — alongside or instead of an email notification. The message includes:

  • Who made the change and what changed (created / assigned / status update)
  • Task status, assignee, and due date
  • A View Task button that deep-links straight to the task in Birdline
  • The campaign and brief the task belongs to

What the app can access

The Birdline AI bot only requests the minimum permissions it needs:

PermissionWhy
View public channels (channels:read)So you can pick which channel to post to
Send messages (chat:write, chat:write.public)To post the messages you choose to send

The app never reads your Slack messages — it only posts when a member of your Birdline organization explicitly sends something, and it posts to public channels only.

Installing the app

The Slack connection is set up from inside Birdline AI and applies to your whole Birdline organization:

  1. Sign in to Birdline AI (or create an account).
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  3. On the Slack card, click Connect.
  4. A Slack authorization window opens — choose your workspace and click Allow.
  5. That's it. The Integrations page confirms the connection, and "Send to Slack" options appear in Share menus and task dialogs across Birdline.

You can also connect the first time you click Share → Send to Slack on a campaign — you'll be prompted to connect right there.

Getting started after you install

Once connected, you'll see a confirmation in Settings → Integrations with your connection date. To send your first message:

  1. Open any campaign and click Share → Send to Slack.
  2. Pick a public channel (search by name), add an optional note, and click Send.
  3. For task updates: when creating or editing a task, check "Also post to Slack" and choose a channel.

Tips

  • Anyone in your Birdline organization can use the connection once an admin sets it up — no per-user setup.
  • To post to a private channel, invite the bot first: type /invite @Birdline AI in that channel. Public channels work without an invite.
  • To disconnect at any time, go to Settings → Integrations → Slack → Disconnect. This removes the connection for your entire organization.

Pricing

The Slack integration is included with every Birdline AI plan at no extra cost. See our pricing page for plan details.
